Joining ATA was the idea of one of our Teacher Aides and we look forward to the association with ATA to build the knowledge and skills of our Teacher Aide Team. What we have seen so far is very promising.
- Anthony Drill, St Mary MacKillop Primary School, QLD
Informative and inspiring PD webinar on the newly developed ATAPS Framework for teachers aides which align with the Professional Standards for Teachers both of which are essential for the performance and professional growth process in the education sector. The aim of professional standards for teachers aides developed by ATA is to raise the status of the role and work of teachers aides by providing a framework to work from with benchmarks which provides a clear path to a higher quality of support that teachers aides can offer.
- Catherine Manning, TAFE NSW
My school recently joined ATA. From the initial phone call giving information about the service and how to sign up, to the phone call to explain the services and how to navigate the website to any questions we may have, the ATA and their customer service team have been fantastic! They are supportive, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
- Linda Taylor, Neerim District Secondary College, VIC
An Excellent Framework for Supporting and Growing Teacher Aides! ATAPS is an outstanding professional growth framework that truly elevates the role of Teacher Aides. It provides clear guidance on best practices, encourages reflective professional development, and recognises the invaluable contributions of TAs in supporting student learning. This framework not only builds the profession of teacher aiding but also empowers TAs by affirming the great work they do every day. A fantastic tool for schools looking to invest in their support staff and enhance student outcomes. Highly recommended.
- Dale Lopez, Redlands College, QLD
I greatly appreciate the training opportunities given through ATA. The information in each of the webinars is very informative and this assists me to be more effective as I apply it to working with students.
- Sharon Davies, Broughton Anglican College, NSW
Purchasing an ATA membership was one of the best decisions we made in supporting our Education Support team. This is our third year renewing our subscription. There is an enormous range of professional development opportunities available for all stages of an ES career, covering cognition, social and emotional supports etc. If this is something you are considering, I highly recommend.
- Paula Reynolds, Djerriwarrh Community College, VIC
Our support staff have derived great value from participating in the webinars this year.
- Julie, Salisbury High School, SA
There's not enough hours in a day to do all the webinars! I love it. I am one of a team of 19 EAs in our school and am so impressed with how our wonderful members have embraced all of this. By all accounts, the ladies are finding the modules and webinars very informative and relevant. Thank you for such a wonderful resource.
