Pathways to Teaching for Teacher Aides

Many universities around Australia are creating pathways to teaching to address acute teacher shortages. 

In this webinar, we have invited Dr Elizabeth Murray, Senior Lecturer School of Education,  to talk about the pathways to teaching for teacher aides at Charles Sturt University. Dr Murray will provide an overview of the current state of play in the teacher education space, discuss a traineeship-type model to train future teachers, and explore the importance of upskilling teacher aides (TAs) across Australia to retrain as primary and secondary school teachers.
