Recognise a teacher aide who is making a difference at your school 


Thank you to all the schools that submitted a nomination in the Australian Teacher Aide of the Year awards. Nominations for 2021 have now closed.

This year you have once more nominated exceptional teacher aides and teacher aide teams, working in State, Catholic and Independent Schools across Australia who are making a difference to student learning and wellbeing.

The Australian Teacher Aide of the Year State Finalists and Highly Commended will be announced on Thursday 19 August and will each receive an inscribed crystal plaque and a personalised certificate. Highly Commended and all other nominees will also receive personalised certificates.

2021 Australian Teacher Aide of the Year will be announced on Thursday 2 September, during Australia Teacher Aide Appreciation Week. The winner will receive an inscribed crystal plaque, a personalised certificate, and a twelve-month school membership to Australian Teacher Aide up to the value of $1000.00, depending on the size of the school. Current member schools will receive a complimentary renewal of their school membership.

The Winning Australian Teacher Aide of the Year School Team will also be announced on Thursday 2 September, and receive an inscribed team plaque, and personalised certificates for each team member.
