Schools that prioritise mental health can empower students, parents, carers, and staff to contribute to a compassionate and caring school community where everyone can thrive. Understanding how to talk about mental health and having the confidence and knowledge to help someone in need are important skills that everyone in the school community can learn. During this webinar, Janie McCullagh, Mental Health First Aid Australia Instructor and Program Delivery Specialist, will discuss the importance of a whole of school community approach to mental health literacy, including:

  • Signs and symptoms of mental health problems.
  • Support systems and services available.
  • Mental Health First Aid training as an early intervention program.
