Differentiation is a high impact teaching strategy that enables educators to provide the right amount of support and challenge for every student. During this live web event, ATA content writer and facilitator, Kim Nuske, will present part one of a two-part series that will assist education support staff understand what differentiation is, and how it is used to support student learning. In part one, Kim will:

  • introduce differentiation 
  • touch on a brief history to show how far we have come
  • unpack the four key areas of environment, content, process and product, and 
  • discuss the important role of the teaching assistant in differentiation
