We're seeking a part-time Learning Support Assistant (Secondary) for our Wantirna South campus who desires to play a vital role in the creation of an inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.  Learning Support Assistants are an integral part of our school community, ensuring that each student receives the necessary support to facilitate their active participation in school and classroom activities.  Your support will make a lasting impact on their educational journey.  This role is FTE 0.89, working 8:50am-3:35pm Monday-Friday.

You are an ideal candidate if you:

• Have as a minimum, a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support, or be prepared to study towards one
• Have a passion for supporting students with disabilities
• Have the ability to collaborate with teachers, students, and other support staff
• Can demonstrate high level communication and interpersonal skills
• Have good administrative and Microsoft Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Have excellent problem-solving skills

Applicants are to include a Resume, Cover Letter, written Pastoral Reference and complete the screening questions as part of the application process. Applicants will also need to provide three references.  A Working with Children’s Check, and a Police Check less than three months old are mandatory prior to being hired.  A First Aid Certificate (HLTAD011) and Anaphylaxis Certificate are also required prior to starting in the role.
